MOMS Club® (Moms Offering Moms Support) was founded in 1983 in Simi Valley, California, by Mary James — a stay-at-home mom who wanted a way to connect with other moms during the day. At the time, most support groups met in the evenings, which made it hard for moms with young children to attend.
What started as a small group of local mothers quickly grew into a nationwide — and now international — nonprofit organization. Today, there are hundreds of MOMS Club® chapters across the United States and in several other countries, all dedicated to providing friendship, support, and activities for moms and their children during the day.

We’re a group of moms who know firsthand that motherhood is easier—and a lot more fun—when you’re surrounded by people who understand what you’re going through. From sleepless nights to toddler tantrums to school-age milestones, our members come from all walks of life but share a common goal: building lasting friendships and finding support in Sioux Falls.
